Man Utd legend Rio Ferdinand calls for a PETITION to get Tony Pulis trophy and demands Lescott ‘bring my b****y medal’
MANCHESTER UNITED legend Rio Ferdinand insists rivals Man City should hand over their trophies and medals after being found guilty of breaching financial rules. City were declared guilty on all but one of the 115 charges they have been facing since 2023 following a four-year investigation by an independent commission. However, sanctions have yet to be finalised as Man City continue to maintain their innocence and plan to appeal. Breaches of Uefa’s Financial Fair Play regulations and the Prem’s own Profitability and Sustainability Rules were also among the charges. City are facing severe consequences, such as points deductions, fines and even EXPULSION from the English top flight. The Citizens also face the prospect of having to hand over trophies won between 2009 and 2018, which is the period they were investigated for.
