Brit ticket-holder wins huge £111million EuroMillions jackpot – as third lucky winner in Britain this year

A UK ticket-holder has won a huge £111million EuroMillions jackpot, making them the third winner in Britain this year. The lucky Brit bagged the whopping cash prize in Friday night’s draw after matching all five numbers and both lucky stars. The winning EuroMillions numbers are 11, 12, 15, 38, 49 and the winning EuroMillions Lucky Star numbers are 10, 12. The ticket-holder is now set to pocket the life-changing sum of £111,709,000, propelling them into overnight wealth. Lottery bosses say it’s the third time a Brit has won the jackpot this year after another winner scooped a huge £181million jackpot in March. At the time, Allwyn said that they had immediately leapt into third place in the National Lottery rich list and had a fortune to rival Adele. The top spot is currently held by an anonymous player who pocketed £195.7million in July 2022, followed by Joe and Jess Thwaite from Gloucester who won £184.2million in May 2022. The following month, two UK ticket-holders and one from France, each claimed £41.8million. They shared the £126million jackpot after each matched all five main numbers. It marked the first triple claim on a EuroMillions jackpot since May 2023, when winners from the UK, France, and Switzerland shared a £138million prize pot.
