A Palace spokesman last week questioned the veracity of Earl Spencer's account and said that fraternal grief can 'cloud reason, affect judgment and colour memory'. The row is even dividing Daily Mail columnists. Jan Moir says she just can't accept that the then-Prince Charles practically revelled in the death of his former wife. And, A.N.
