Andy Burnham braced for Donald Trump clash as he prepares to hit Israel with sanctions

ANDY Burnham is bracing for a fresh row with Donald Trump as he prepares to unveil Israeli sanctions as soon as today. The PM is expected to impose a punishment package on Benjamin Netanyahu’s government over illegal West Bank settlements. Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband is expected to make the announcement today as Labour seeks to win back pro-Gaza voters it has lost in recent years. But it risks a backlash from the Americans who are understood to be furious with Britain’s hardening approach against Israel.
