UFC star Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34. Nascimento suffered an apparent heart attack in his sleep before being found on Monday morning. He boasted a record of 22 wins from his 29 fights in the UFC – losing the other seven. The Brazilian brawler’s tragic death was confirmed by the UFC with a statement on social media. It read: “This morning, Monday, August 3rd, our beloved flyweight fighter, Allan Nascimento, was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack in his sleep. “Despite the efforts of the responding medical team, he was pronounced deceased at the scene. One posted: “Rest in peace, it’s crazy he literally just fought like less than a month ago.” A second wrote: “Rest in peace Allan.” Most read in Sport A third commented: “God bless his soul and family.” A fourth said: “Terrible news! Rest in peace bro!” Another added: “I just fell to my knees, rest in peace.” Nascimento was in action as recently as June 20 as he took on American fighter Mitch Raposo at the Meta Apex in Nevada. Despite scoring a knockdown, the win was awarded to Raposo by decision after the three rounds. Nascimento made his debut in the UFC back in 2021 at UFC 267 but lost in a close split decision to Russian fighter Tagir Ulanbekov. He claimed famous victories against the likes of Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez, Jafel Filho and Cody Durden.
