The 19-year-old recently enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, making 22 league appearances and making his Spain debut. Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo reports that United are one of several clubs to have shown interest in the defensive midfielder. Premier League rivals Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as Roma and Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr have also been linked with the teenager. However, Mundo Deportivo claims that Bernal has “absolute loyalty” to Barcelona. Bernal is under contract until 2029 and his deal is said to include a £427million (€500m) release clause. Man Utd ‘in talks’ over £30m deal Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Juventus over a deal that could potentially see Joshua Zirkzee leave Old Trafford. The 25-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular spot in the side since arriving from Bologna in 2024. The Sun reports that Zirkzee is a “top target” for Juve, who are leading the battle for his signature. It is claimed the clubs are "in talks" over a loan move which would include a £30m obligation to buy. The Serie A side are said to have turned their attention to Zirkzee after being unable to agree a move for PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani. Meanwhile, the Netherlands international is reportedly “keen” on joining Juventus. Zirkzee has played 75 games across his two years at United, scoring nine goals.
