In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we examine the Book of Psalms. "Life has many troubles, there's plenty to worry about. The question is, what we do with that worry? "An old Christian hymn encourages us to take those things to God in prayer. It says what a friend we have in Jesus. All our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. "The Bible puts it like this. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. I'm friends with a couple in their late 20s who became Christians 18 months ago, after he received a cancer diagnosis. They decided to buy Bibles. "They opened them in the middle, found the Psalms, and started reading and praying their way through them. They discovered a God who cares for them and they've put their trust in him. "Refreshingly, the Bible doesn't say sort your stuff out and then you can come to God. It says, bring your stuff to God. Bring your heart to God. Pour it out. He can take it and he cares for you."
