In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remember how Gospel of Matthew argues that every person has immense worth in God’s eyes. It points to Jesus Christ’s teaching about sparrows and his sacrifice on the cross as evidence of the value and love God places on each individual. “Do you ever wrestle with questions about what you're worth, whether you have any intrinsic value? “I think it's human for each one of us to, at different points in our lives, perhaps have questions like this. Are we intrinsically of value? If so, to whom? “Well, Jesus, when he walked this earth, gave this teaching to the multitudes. He said in Matthew chapter ten: ‘Are not two sparrows sold in the market for a penny? And yet not one of them falls to the ground without the knowledge of your Father in heaven. So do not be afraid. You are of far greater worth than many sparrows.’ “Now, hopefully, that comes as good news to you as it does to me today, that we are of far more worth and value than many sparrows.” WATCH ABOVE Keep reading...
