JESSE MARSCH guided Canada to their first-ever World Cup win – and was sensationally compared to Alan Pardew after busting some moves on the touchline. The tournament co-hosts notched a 6-0 victory over NINE-MAN Qatar in Vancouver. And former Leeds chief Marsch, 52, was spotted celebrating wildly when Qatar defender Homam El Amin was sent off in the first half. The scenes resulted in some on social media comparing the Canada chief to Pardew, who famously danced in the dugout when Crystal Palace took the lead against Manchester United in the 2016 FA Cup final. One said: “Stench of Alan Pardew off of Jesse Marsch.” Another added: “Jesse Marsch’s celebrations on the sideline are brilliant I must say.” READ MORE ON WORLD CUP A third chimed in: “If the sidelines had a rating, his would be five stars and a standing ovation.” A fourth noted: “Jesse Marsch is absolutely loving it!” Canada’s historic win was overshadowed by former Watford midfielder Ismael Kone suffering a gruesome injury.
