Emotional Jesse Marsch fights back tears in touching moment with Ismael Kone as Canada boss issues major health update

CANADA manager Jesse Marsch gave an emotional update on Ismael Kone after his horror injury. Sassuolo star Kone suffered a serious looking injury to his leg in Thursday’s World Cup Group B win over Qatar. Kone, 24, was taken off on a stretcher just before the hour mark during the 6-0 win in Vancouver. Marsch walked over to his stricken star in a heart-warming show of support. The pair were pictured putting their heads together and shaking hands as Kone was taken down the tunnel. And the Canada manager gave an update on Kone’s status after the 6-0 win.
