BUKAYO SAKA is a massive fitness worry ahead of the World Cup — and still not able to play 90 minutes. England boss Thomas Tuchel revealed the Arsenal winger has been struggling with his Achilles issue and cannot take part in all training sessions. Saka pulled out of Three Lions duty in March and started just five games for Arsenal after the Carabao Cup final that same month. Ahead of facing Costa Rica in a warm-up match in Orlando on Thursday, Tuchel said: “Bukayo is still getting there, playing through discomfort at the end of the season, but obviously managing it and playing at a high level. “But he is still not 100 per cent for us. Some things are missing for Bukayo in terms of consecutive training. “Arsenal took very good care of him and were very aware of it. Saka was taken off during the Champions League final and was definitely not at his best towards the end of the season, even though Arsenal won the Premier League. Tuchel claimed otherwise, though. He said: “Bukayo was very decisive. They brought him back against Fulham when the season and title was on the line and he was straight away decisive. He is available for Costa Rica, but he needs management to be fully, fully 100 per cent, which he is not. But he is on a high level.” Tuchel welcomed Saka and Arsenal team-mates Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze after an extended break following the Champions League final defeat by Paris Saint-Germain. England will face a Costa Rica team who are likely to field a weakened team. Tuchel said: “We will give players 60 to 70 minutes to play and be ready for Croatia.”
