Stay tuned for more tomorrow! Raul Jimenez has 'agreed' to return to Wolves on a two-year deal with an option of a further 12 months. The Mexico international, 35, first moved to Molineux in 2018 and spent five years there, scoring 57 goals in 166 appearances and becoming a cult hero in the process. But Jimenez was let go in 2023 and Fulham ended up snapping up his signature and keeping the ex-Benfica man for three seasons. In that time, he netted 31 goals in 115 matches before the Whites decided to release him at the end of his contract this summer. Now a free agent, Jimenez has undergone a medical in Mexico and is now expected to sign in as a Wolves player on a deal running until 2028, as they prepare for the new Championship season. Crystal Palace want £100million to sell midfielder Adam Wharton amid interest from Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United, according to journalist Alan Nixon. Wharton has attracted interest from around the top of the Premier League following an impressive two-and-a-half years at Palace, where he has established himself as one of the best midfielders in England. And should Palace sell him this summer, the Eagles want a NINE figure fee, which would represent one of the biggest sales in the Premier League era. Leicester have agreed to appoint Russell Martin as their new manager, with the former Southampton boss set to sign a three-year contract with an option of a further 12 months. The Foxes have been looking for a replacement for Gary Rowett after he left following the club's relegation to League One. But now, almost six weeks since the season ended, the Foxes have agreed to appoint Martin ahead of the new third tier campaign. Real Madrid are expressing a keen interest in the signing of Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez with a view to next season, according to the Daily Mail. Los Blancos have been long linked with a move for Fernandez even before his £115million move to Chelsea three-and-a-half years ago. Now, it's claimed Real are planning a big-money offer for the Argentina international. Atletico Madrid have mocked Real Madrid after Los Blancos released a statement to confirm that they have had a £130million bid rejected for forward Julian Alvarez. Stoke City have appointed Arsenal Under 21s head coach Max Porter to Mark Robins' coaching staff as an assistant manager. Porter, 38, joined Arsenal in 2017 and worked his way up their academy structure before taking charge of the U21s for the start of the 2025/26 season. Stoke sporting director Jonathan Walters said: "Max arrives from one of the most elite and successful environments in the country, and we're delighted to welcome him to Stoke City. "He has built a reputation as one of the brightest young coaches in the game and has played an important role in the development of a number of exceptional young players during his time at Arsenal. "What stood out to us was Max's drive, energy and ambition. He is constantly looking to improve, challenge and develop those around him, and we believe he will be a tremendous addition to our environment. "As we continue to strengthen and add quality to our backroom staff, Max is another important appointment for the club, and we’re excited to see the impact he can make as we prepare for the season ahead." Real Madrid have said that Atletico Madrid have rejected their £130million bid for Julian Alvarez. The 26-year-old has four years left on his contract at Wanda Metropolitano and had been subject to talks from Barcelona. Real, however, released a statement on Tuesday outlining that they had bid for the ex-Manchester City man but it had not been successful, due in part to the player's release clause. "Real Madrid CF announces that, following today's Board of Directors meeting, it has made an offer of 150 million euros to Club Atletico de Madrid for the federative rights of the player Julian Alvarez," the statement said. "After studying and evaluating it, Atletico de Madrid has thanked the club for the offer, made within the framework of the good relations existing between both clubs, and has rejected it, referring to the player's release clause." Newcastle want a world-record transfer fee for a right-back for Arsenal target Tino Livramento, as they look to fend off interest for the England international, according to TEAMTalk. The current record was set by Achraf Hakimi following his £58million move to Paris Saint-Germain in 2021, and Newcastle want a fee bigger than that sum if they are to consider selling Livramento. Manchester City defender Jahmai Simpson-Pusey will join German side FC Koln this summer, turning his loan move with the Bundesliga outfit into a permanent switch. Simpson-Pusey spent the second half last season with Koln making 11 appearances. The German outfit, who finished 14th, had an option to make the move permanent and have negotiated a deal with City which will take the 20-year-old to the RheinEnergieStadion from July 1. City will bank an initial €5.5million from the move while add-ons included could take the final total to €7.5m. City have also inserted a buy-back clause and matching rights into the transfer. Brahim Diaz is keen to stay at Real Madrid and fight for his place under Jose Mourinho, according to Fabrizio Romano. It's added that while Luciano Spalletti would 'love' to have Brahim at Juventus, his focus is on Real Madrid unless the club change their stance on selling the attacking midfielder this summer. Crystal Palace have agreed a deal in principle to appoint Pierre Sage as their new head coach, according to talkSPORT. Palace have been searching for a successor for Oliver Glasner since the Austrian decided to step down at the end of the season, and Sage has been identified as their first-choice. Sage, who guided Lens to the Coupe de France and a second-place Ligue 1 finish last season, is set to sign a three-year deal with Palace paying £2.5million in compensation. Manchester City midfielder Divine Mukasa has signed a new contract until 2030. The 18-year-old, who has made six senior appearances for City, spent the second half of last season on loan at Leicester, where he scored twice and provided three assists in 15 matches. Speaking about his new four-year deal at City, Mukasa said: "I am really excited to see what the future has in store for me. I have learnt so much since the day I arrived at the club from players and staff alike. The experiences I have gained have definitely bettered me as a player and a person. "With this said, I can only use the environment to continue to progress. My taste of first team football at City earlier last season has only furthered my ambition to compete at the highest level." Arsenal are interested in wonderkids Jeremy Monga and Emmanuel Mbemba with The Athletic providing updates on those two pursuits. For the latter, a deal has been discussed internally as his current PSG contract expires at the end of the month. Aston Villa have also been credited with an interest. As for Monga, the Gunners are aiming to try and agree a deal with Leicester rather than going to a tribunal. Personal terms are not expected to be an issue. Chelsea are expected to be busy in this summer's transfer window. While improvements are needed, more exits could be sealed than signings with Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella two potential high-profile departures. According to The Athletic, one of Nicolas Jackson or Liam Delap will also be sold with the former set for a chance under Xabi Alonso after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich. There are also no guarantees that Emmanuel Emegha is part of the club's plans despite having never played for Chelsea. Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham have all been handed an Alex Scott transfer update. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Bournemouth want £80million to sell the midfielder, but would prefer to keep him at the club. To do the latter, the Cherries are planning to offer him a new contract with a release clause to be included in that deal, as was the case with Antoine Semenyo. Arsenal's Riccardo Calafiori is another defender of transfer interest to Real Madrid. Italian journalist Nicolo Schira has since stated that a transfer meeting between Real and Calafiori's representatives has taken place. He has added that discussions with Arsenal are set to follow. Tottenham now look to be the only team pursuing Brighton's Jan Paul Van Hecke. Liverpool and Chelsea have both been linked but Telegraph journalist Matt Law has stated that Spurs are the only team trying to sign him with other clubs pulling out of the race. Two bids from north London have thus far been rejected by Brighton but talks are continuing with Brighton valuing him at £70million. Ibrahima Konate is set to be confirmed as a Real Madrid player, but things could have played out very differently. Firstly, a new contract could have been agreed between him and Liverpool. He could have also stayed in the Premier League with The Athletic stating that Chelsea made a basic check on Konate's availability. The Blues are in need of defensive reinforcements, particularly players with experience, which would have made Konate the perfect addition. However, he will instead be joining Xabi Alonso's former club. Atalanta star Marco Palestra will not be joining Newcastle United this summer, according to reports. The right-back, who spent the 2025/26 season on loan at Cagliari, emerged as a target for the Magpies and were able to pay his €45million (£38.8m) asking price. However, Inter is his favoured destination and talks are ongoing as the Italian champions search for a Denzel Dumfries replacement. Inter Milan continue to be linked with a move for Liverpool star Curtis Jones. According to The Athletic, Liverpool do not want to sell but would reluctantly sanction an exit if he asked to leave or a suitable offer arrived, with the value of that believed to be £35million. Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio told reporters last weekend: “Curtis Jones, we are paying attention to him. We didn’t hide. We understand what the developments will be.” Tottenham central defender Micky van de Ven is wanted by Jose Mourinho at Real Madrid. According to Spanish outlet Marca, the Netherlands international is keen to leave and could cost anywhere between €50million (£43.2m) and €85million (£73.4m). His agent Jose Fortes said back in April 2025: "Micky also has the quality to play for a big club like Real Madrid someday. Besides, Madrid needs a defender with his characteristics." Hull City are keeping tabs on the West Ham United striker Callum Wilson. Wilson, 34, is set to leave the relegated Hammers as a free agent. Hull want to bring in some Premier League experience after they won promotion via the play-offs. Wilson has previously played for Newcastle United and Bournemouth and scored 95 Premier League goals. Eintracht Frankfurt star Nathaniel Brown could be at the centre of a summer transfer saga with Manchester United, Arsenal and Bayern Munich all interested. The Athletic have claimed that the latter lead the race for his signature having held extensive talks with his camp. However, they do not want to pay Frankfurt's €65 (£56.1m) asking price which offers Arsenal and United hope of signing the versatle 22-year-old. Manchester United are not lining up a bid for Tottenham defender Cristian Romero, according to the Manchester Evening news. They have claimed that sources have dismissed the suggestion with reports of an offer to the north London club believed to be wide of the mark as Romero is not currently on United's shortlist. Arsenal have been told Juventus star Kenan Yildiz is not for sale as the club look to sign a left winger. According to The Athletic, the Gunners made an enquiry for the Turkish attacker but the firm response from the Italian club have seen them start to pursue other options. Rafael Leao, Morgan Rogers and Marcus Rashford are just a few options that have been linked with Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard potentially set to depart. In addition to midfield signings, Manchester United are exploring the No.2 goalkeeper market. The Athletic have claimed that Wolves' Sam Johnstone and Karl Darlow, who sees his Leeds United contract expire at the end of month as options to replace Altay Bayindir with it likely departs. Those two shot-stoppers would both fit the homegrown quota as United prepare for a return to the Champions League. While Manchester City are firmly in the driving seat for Elliot Anderson, it seems as though Manchester United cannot be counted out of the transfer race. That is because, according to The Guardian, United remain intent on signing Anderson with it claimed that executives at the club are confident they can beat City to signing him. Despite the significant funds needed for the deal, it has been claimed that Sir Jim Ratcliffe would be prepared to meet Anderson's wage demands which are expected to be £150,000. Manchester City are preparing a second offer to Nottingham Forest for Elliot Anderson. According to talkSPORT, City are open to paying in excess of £80million as they remain in the box seat to sign him. However, Forest are looking to receive a fee in the the triple-figures to sell. As he is set to start for England at the World Cup, a key role in the tournament may only help Forest's valuation be justified. To cope with the Europa League, Crystal Palace need depth and bringing in Hayden Hackney would give them exactly that. However, it is difficult to not make the suggestion that he could be viewed as a potential replacement for Adam Wharton. No major club are in active discussions for the 22-year-old, but things could change very quickly with Manchester United and Liverpool previously linked and in the market to bolster midfield. Manchester City meanwhile, are firmly focused on Elliot Anderson.
